"Thank you for all that you've done this semester! One thing I wanted to say before I don't have the chance -- thank you so so so much for using gender neutral language all semester. I've had English teachers fight tooth and nail for using "his/her" instead of "their" and all semester, even if he/she was written on the slides, you would be sure to say they. That does not go unnoticed or unappreciated, and it always did brighten my day, so thank you. :)"
"Thanks for being an awesome professor this semester! For whatever reason I was able to wake up for your class at 6 in the morning and get ready. I have never felt that way towards a class. I loved the food themed class. It was a great introduction to college!"
"Your teaching style was incredible insightful, tough at times for me as it was new but encouraged me to think critically about the course material. I cannot thank you enough for the depth and breadth of knowledge you shared with me in class on different English techniques when it comes a research argument. I feel incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn from such an outstanding professor. The knowledge and skills I acquired in your class will undoubtedly serve me well in my future endeavors (especially in writing/ editing), and I am thankful for the positive impact you have had on my education. Once again, I extend my sincere appreciation for everything you have done for me and for your students. You are a remarkable professor, and I feel honored to have been your student. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors and have a nice summer."
